Leona Marian “Linda” Allen was born March 19, 1947 in Park River, North Dakota and passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019, surrounded by her family, in Splendora, Texas at the age of 72. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James Leo Bushard and Marian Ernestine Backlund Bushard; children, Michael Parks, Bonnie Parks Perkins and Linda Parks; brother, Joey Bushard; sister, Susie Bushard. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, James Allen of Splendora, Texas; son, Delbert Parks of Gillett, Wyoming; grandchildren, Michael Parks Jr., Justin Parks, Austin Sanford, Steven Perkins, Adam Sanford, Amanda Parks, Christopher Parks and Courtney Magee; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and dear friends. The Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2019 in the Neal Funeral Home Chapel, 200 S. Washington Cleveland, Texas 77327, at 10am with Chaplain Warren David Wallace officiating. There will be a gathering at the home of Tracey Parks-Torres following the service.
