James Lartigue

James Lartigue, 62, of Devers, Texas, passed away at his home Saturday, August 24,2019. James Lartigue was born March 19, 1957, in Dayton, Texas to parents Bulia and Ivory Lartigue Sr. James grew up in Barrett Station where he attended Public School.

Growing up, James would watch his dad work on cars. He learned how to work on vehicles by changing the oil and tires.

James moved to Devers, Texas after marrying his wife, Sharon Frank. He retired from Liberty County Precinct 1 in Raywood, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ivory Lartigue Sr., and sister Mary Lartigue.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lartigue; daughter, Raven Lartigue; his mother, Bulia Lartigue; sisters, Doris Richardson, Lou Ann Green (Jesse Green); brother, Ivory Joseph Lartigue Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews and an abundance of other family and friends.

Services for James will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 31,2019 at Liberty Church of Christ.
