Tickets on sale for Dayton Sports Hall of Fame fundraiser

Tickets are now on sale for four prize drawings to benefit the Dayton Sports Hall of Fame, an organization that honors former Dayton ISD athletes and coaches. One winning ticket will be picked during each of the remaining home games for the Dayton Broncos varsity football team.

The prizes include: a date night bucket valued at $150 that includes two football game tickets, restaurant gift cards and food vouchers for purchases at the game; Pit Boss pellet grill valued at $375; Kate Spade handbag valued at $359; and a lighted Frio ice chest valued at $350.

Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the Dayton ISD Administration Office during regular business hours. Email Mary Ellen Conner at maryeconner@sbcglobal.net for more information and locations of tickets.

Dayton Sports Hall of Fame supporters are also selling brick pavers to honor past and present Dayton ISD athletes. Each paver is $75 and can honor or memorialize one person. The pavers are engraved with up to three lines of text with a maximum of 16 characters per line. Duplicate bricks per personal use are $50.

The pavers are being placed in the walkway leading to the Sports Hall of Fame Museum at the Nottingham Alternative Education Center, 302 S. Cleveland St., Dayton.
