Dawson named Cleveland ISD Teacher of the Week

Sheila Dawson is the first Teacher of the Week for the 2019-2020 school year at Cleveland ISD. Dawson is a fifth-grade math and science dual-language teacher at Southside Elementary.

Dawson graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science – Teaching and Learning and has been teaching for more than four years.

When she isn’t teaching school, she loves to read and spend time with her family and friends, especially with her 7-year-old nephew.

“Congratulations Ms. Dawson. Great job!,” said Cleveland ISD spokesperson Susan Ard. “We are so excited that you choose Cleveland ISD and Southside Elementary to be a part of our Indian Family.”
