Thomas Joe Brunson

Thomas Joe Brunson, 66, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Memorial Hermann, in Houston surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 7, 1953, to Thomas James Brunson and Betty Jo Cantrell in Liberty, TX.

Thomas was a machinist for most of his life and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others. He loved to fish, but his true passion was working on cars and motorcycles. One of his proudest moments was when he built his first rear-end motor. Thomas was a good father and pawpaw. He will be truly missed by all who loved him.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry E. Brunson

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, TJ Brunson of Highlands, TX; daughter, Shannon C. Wright and husband Ray of Baytown; sister, Sharron Rose Taylor and husband Granville of Liberty; grandchildren, Tylor Middleton and wife Danielle of Channelview, TX, Stephanie Yonkers and husband Tylor of Channelview, Tx, Macey Brunson of Liberty, Easton Brunson of Highland; great-grandchildren, Trenton Middleton and Stacie Yonkers; stepchildren, Anthony “Bubba” Walker, Lance Pskowski and Melisa Pskowski – Casey also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and a hosts of friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, September 14, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Faith and Family Funeral Services Inc. 40847 Hwy 105 E. Batson, TX. 77519 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Cremation under the care of Faith and Family Funeral Services Inc.
