MCSO: Porter teen missing since Sept. 9

Kia Young, 14, was last seen in the Porter area on Sept. 9.

A 14-year-old Porter teenager is missing and law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in returning her home.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says that Kia Young, 14, was last seen in Porter wearing a burgundy shirt, neon yellow shorts and a gray purse.

“She was possibly walking towards the Walmart on Riley Fuzzel in Spring, and may be attempting to travel to San Antonio,” said MCSO Specialist Lee Knudsen.

Young is described as 5-feet, 8-inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 936-760-5800.
