Mrs. Krystyna Black is the Cleveland ISD Teacher of the Week for the week ending Sept. 13, 2019. Black is a fifth-grade math and science dual language teacher at Northside Elementary campus.
Black earned her bachelor of science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Sam Houston State University. She has taught at Northside Elementary for three years. She and her husband have four children – three girls and one boy – and a dog named Koda.
When Black is not teaching, she enjoys traveling, taking time with her children and their various extracurricular activities, and creating memories with her family.
“Thank you, Mrs. Black, for the amazing job you do with your students, your co-workers and your Cleveland ISD Indian family. We are so glad that you are a part of our Indian family,” said Susan Ard, spokesperson for Cleveland ISD.
The Teacher of the Week is sponsored by KORG-LP 95.3, Demontrond Ford, Health Center of Southeast Texas, El Burrito and Easy Street Florist.
