Dayton Municipal Court and the Dayton Police Department will host a National Night Out gathering on Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Community Center parking lot (801 S. Cleveland St.).
All are welcome to attend this free event. There will be information booths from organizations including the Texas Department of Transportation, the Dayton Fire Department, the Dayton Police Department, and more.
Dayton Municipal Court and Police Department staff will be available to answer questions about their role in the community. They will also be giving away free traffic safety materials and other goodies. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Free parking is available in the Community Center Parking lot. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes the collaborative efforts of courts, city governments, and residents to make Dayton a safer place to live.
