Lonny Marlon Chance

Lonny Marlon Chance, age 71 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019. He was born January 4, 1948 in Houston, Texas to parents Arthur Marlon and Nora Chance who preceded him in death along with his brother, Larry Chance.

Mr. Chance was a Vietnam veteran that served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He was a woodworker that enjoyed hunting and garage-shopping with his grandkids. Lonny was a gun enthusiast and a gentle man.

Survivors include his wife, Jammye Chance; sons, James Chance and wife Emerald, and Marlon Chance; brother, Donald Chance; sister, Sharon Chance; grandchildren, Zack Chance, Jessica Chance, Macy Chance, and Sophia Chance; nephew, Nefty Rojas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
