UPDATE: Alleged kidnapping victim found safe with family

UPDATE:

The Cleveland Police Department has made contact with the victim in this case. 

The victim is in a safe location with family members.

A continued investigation will be conducted into the alleged kidnapping by the Cleveland Police Department. 

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:

Cleveland Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a dark green Toyota Corolla bearing a license plate of HDS9514. The vehicle was last seen traveling south on Fenner Street.

On Tuesday, Oct. 1, Cleveland PD was called to 608 Nevell Street (Fuel Depot) in regards to a possible kidnapping.

Officers were informed that a black female had walked into the convenience store with two small children.  While inside the store, the female asked a store employee to contact the police department because she was being kidnapped.

While inside the store, a black male passenger of the vehicle the female was driving came into the store and stood behind the female.  The female and the two children left the store with the male and were seen leaving the parking lot in the Toyota Corolla.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of this vehicle and the persons involved is asked to contact the Cleveland Police Department at 281-592-2622.
