Linda Gail Moyes, 64, of Humble, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in Humble. She was born December 27, 1954, in Houston, Texas, to parents, Eugene Hooper and Norma Smith Hooper.
Services for Mrs. Moyes will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2019, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil.
Linda spent most of her life in Humble, but also had resided in the state of Colorado and the city of Austin, Texas. Her family made up her whole life. She enjoyed painting, fishing at Galveston and music. She was a Houston Texan and Astro fan. Linda was a wonderful cook and a great dancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Roy Hooper and her sister, Sharon DeFriese. She is survived by her husband, David Moyes; her daughters, Missy Herd, Nessa Moyes and Suzanne Moyes; grandsons, Jimmie Herd and Robert Moyes; sisters, Phyllis Rosenberg and Patsy Hooper; numerous nephews and nieces, and her dog, Jack.
