Jerrold Defoy Blanton, 83, of Bryan, Texas passed away on Sunday,
November 24, 2019. He was born on Wednesday, January 8, 1936 in
Gaffney, North Carolina to Eldridge Crocker and Willie Blanch (Whitlock)
Blanton, both of whom have preceded him in death. Jerrold was also
preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Blanton, grandson, Jared
Barbour, son in law, Richard Newsome, sisters, Betty Jean Rimel;
children, Laura Blanton Newsome, Joan Blanton and husband Larry, Cheryl
Blanton Barbour and husband Christopher, Kenneth Blanton, Jerrold
Blanton and wife Melissa, Matthew Blanton and wife Terri; along with
numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Memorial Service
will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Kingdom
Ranch Church, 7300 East State Hwy 21, Bryan Texas at 3:00 pm.
