Family Dollar in Dayton robbed at gunpoint

Dayton Police Department has released this image of a suspect who robbed the Family Dollar store on US 90 in Dayton on Nov. 27.

The Family Dollar, located at 503 E. US 90 in Dayton, was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night by two black males, according to Dayton Police Capt. John Coleman.

The two assailants, one carrying a handgun, entered the store about 8:30 p.m. and demanded that store clerks open the cash register. After grabbing cash from the register, the two men fled the store.

Coleman said the two men were both dressed in black and had their faces covered. One was around 5-feet 11-inches tall and the other was 5-feet 5-inches tall.

Dayton Police Department is investigating the robbery. An update will be posted if more information becomes available.
