Brenda Carol Jenkins was born January 1, 1949 in Houston, Texas and passed away December 1, 2019 in Shepherd, Texas at the age of 70. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Elijah Christian and Jewell Bell (Williams) Christian. Brenda loved her family dearly and was blessed to raise her children and take care of her beloved husband. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jesse Jenkins of Shepherd, Texas; daughters, Susan Allday and husband David, Connie Herrod and husband Sammy, Carol Jenkins, all of Shepherd, Texas; grandchildren, Randy and Jessica Griswold, Robert and Kristin Herrod, Jennifer Herrod, Ashley and Chad Brawner, Alex and Samantha Barlow; great grandchildren, Levi, Eli, and Emarie Herrod, Grayson and Copeland Brawner, Aiden Barlow, Leah Pippin and Ashlynn Hill. Visitation will be at Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 10am until noon. Funeral Service will start at noon with Bro. Larry Allbritton officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Robert Herrod, Randy Griswold, David Allday, Alex Barlow, Eddie Frautschi, Sammy Herrod and Mike Goosman.
