Joe Lee Tousha

Joe Lee Tousha, 50, of Liberty, left this life to be with his lord and savior on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at his residence surrounded by his many dear friends and loving family. Joe was born on September 3, 1969, in Liberty, TX to Joe Willard Tousha and Agnes Marie Anderson. In his 50 years of life, Joe accomplished many things. As a little boy, he always loved to play with trucks. He dreamed of driving big trucks. He fulfilled that dream for over 20 years on the road traveling from place to place for various companies. His latest job, at Lone Star NGL in Mont Belvieu, as a storage operator, was a dream come true. Finally he was able to get off the road and spend more time with his kids and precious wife, Connie. He also enjoyed many hobbies that included fishing, boating, kayaking, hunting and most of all, yard work. He took pride in making sure his lawn was in pristine condition. Joe had a huge heart. Everyone that knew him, could see that from the beginning. He was a part of several ministries and traveled with his wife as much as he could. He loved riding his motorcycle. he was a part of the St. Jude’s Toy Drive that blessed the children battling brain cancer. Joe was known by many names, Uncle Bubba, Papa Joe, Pastor Joe and in his younger years, Jody. But most of all, he loved being called Dad. Joe was a hardworking man. Always providing, loving, kindhearted and gentle. Always there to give you a big hug. He loved his lord and savior and grew closer and closer to his lord everyday. We will all miss him very much but know his legacy will continue on. We will get that big hug when we see him again in heaven.

He is preceded in death by uncles, James R. Anderson, Leroy Anderson and grandparents, Velma Anderson, Oscar Anderson, J.L. Tousha, Pat Garrison and Ada Garrison.

Joe leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Connie Tousha; daughter, Kara Tousha; son, Garrison Tousha; mother, Agnes Garrison and husband Allen; father, Joe W. Tousha and wife Norma; brother, Eric Garrison and wife Katrina; sister, Evelyn Killion and husband Tim; sister, Georganna Cox and husband Colton; brother, Aaron Ortiz; sister, Marcella Kimball; sister, Sara Hildebrand; sister, Jeanerette Day and husband Gary; stepchildren, Chris Brothers and wife Maria, Deonna Campbell and husband Micheal, Jon Brothers and wife Michelle, 14 grandchidren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church, 1693 TX- 146 Liberty, TX 77575 with Pastor Bobby Hart and Bro. Dean Love co-officiating.Interment to follow at Norris cemetery in Liberty. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at Cornerstone Church in Liberty.

Honoring Joe as pallbearers are Marcus, Wes, Darrel, Kody, Woody, Eric, Curt and Jim Bob. Honorary pallbearers are Josh and Justin.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Centerpoint, for distribution to ministries Joe supported.
