Ruby Sarah Whitmire

Ruby Sarah Whitmire was born December 24, 1939, in Lovelady, Texas, to parents, Harry and Beatrice Morton. She passed away February 6, 2024, in Kingwood, Texas, at the age of 84. Ruby loved her family and considered it a privilege to stay at home and raise her children. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. 

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Beatrice Morton; husband, Alton Whitmire; son, Glen Whitmire; grandson, Justin Hevron; 11 siblings. She is survived by her beloved children, Ruby Elaine Hevron and husband Gene, Amanda Dettling, and Lende Perry and husband Jesse; sister, Tootsie Chapman and husband Paul; grandchildren, Nicky Beguerisse and husband Eddie Jr, Justin Murray and wife Kelcy, Nicole Watson and husband Kevin, and Kendall Griffin; great-grandchildren, Hunter Matthews, Andrew Matthews, Caden Gregg, Keagan Jeffcoat, Aubrey Griffin, Charlee Murray, and Lilly Griffin. 

Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 5-8pm. Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 1pm, in the Morgan Cemetery with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating.
