Authorities still on the search for missing Livingston girl

McDougal, Don Steven (mugshot from an arrest in Montgomery County)

Investigators continue to actively follow leads and have identified 42-year-old Don Steven McDougal, of Livingston, as one of the persons of interest involved in the disappearance of 11-year-old Audriii Cunningham of Polk County. McDougal was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on an unrelated charge of Aggravated Assault.

McDougal, who has an extensive criminal history dating back to 2001, including two Enticing a Child convictions in Brazoria County in 2008, has not been charged in connection to Audrii’s disappearance at this time. However, he reportedly lived with the girl’s father and was one of the last persons to have seen her.

Investigators believe that a dark blue 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, belonging to McDougal, was involved in the disappearance and are asking for the public’s help in reporting any sightings of the vehicle on Thursday or Friday, Feb. 15-16.
