Montgomery County Pct. 4 alcohol sales compliance checks upcoming

As Spring Break approaches, Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden is taking a proactive stance to ensure the well-being of the youth of EMC. Recognizing the fun of Spring Break festivities, we also acknowledge the potential risks, particularly the issue of underage drinking, which can lead to hazardous situations and long-term consequences for our youth.

To combat this, Constable Hayden and the Pct. 4 Deputies are once again targeting operations aimed at preventing the sale of alcohol to minors. These initiatives are designed to not only enforce existing laws but also to educate both retailers and our community about the gravity of underage drinking.

Statistics from previous efforts show a high level of compliance among local businesses, yet we strive for continuous improvement to eliminate any risk to our youth.

Underage drinking poses significant dangers, including impaired judgment leading to risky behaviors, health risks, and legal consequences. To address this, our operations will include checks on local establishments, ensuring they adhere to the law by not selling alcohol to those under the legal age.

Retailers found in violation face severe penalties, including fines, suspension of liquor licenses, and potential criminal charges, emphasizing the seriousness with which we approach this issue.

Constable Hayden emphasizes, “The safety of our youth is a high priority, especially during times like Spring Break. Through these enhanced measures, we are committed to not only enforcing the law but also fostering a culture of safety and responsibility among our youth and the businesses that serve our community.”

We urge the entire community to support these efforts. By working together, we can ensure a fun, safe Spring Break for our youth and maintaining a higher level of security of our community as a whole. Let’s all contribute to a positive and safe environment for our young residents to enjoy their Spring festivities responsibly

  1. How bout doing some drug dealing checks in our communities. If you would do that, you fill up the jail really fast.

  2. Rowdy Hayden.. now there is a guy who will go out of his way to make sure that the poor stay poor and the homeless stay homeless. Caused me to lose my job too.. serve and protect ?? I was living in a tent behind my job working for a living and he came to me and made sure I lost what little I had..

  3. Yeah Rowdy and his thugs. They busted a few store clerks a couple nights ago. I have something to say about it. It is illegal to sell alcohol to minors. It’s also illegal for Minors to try and purchase it. So why is is legal for Rowdy to pay Minors with pizza to purchase alcohol?. Also nevermind all the customers that were doing nothing wrong getting their rights violated . The thugs were asking customers for their ID . That’s illegal and a violation of rights. I think I’ll look a little further into these Thugs of rowdys. He needs to be prosecuted for all the crooked things he’s done.

  4. So they have time for these “stings”, but out here in East Montgomery County it’s near total lawlessness. In Peach Creek Forest, it sounds like Bagdad on Saturday nights with all the illegals getting drunk, shooting guns, and blasting music all night. Just last night, it started with a huge explosion of some type, then there was gunfire from multiple homes over the course of several hours.

We don’t even bother calling the police anymore because they usually don’t even respond, and if they do- nothing gets done. We are being victimized in our own homes by these uncivilized vermin, yet you don’t even see a patrol by police- despite most of our property taxes just being doubled, tripled or more.

We need proactive policing in EMC, not wasting time tricking an overworked store clerk into committing an underage alcohol sale.

Hayden and Henderson- be more proactive in the neighborhoods- you will be surprised with the amount of crime that is happening now that people have realized it’s basically a free for all with little chance of consequences.
