Jerry Standley

Jerry Standley, 77, peacefully passed away at his home in Shepherd, Texas on March 13, 2024. Jerry was born on August 20, 1946, in Lufkin, Texas, to parents Dual and Virgie Standley.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Dual and Virgie Standley; sister, Joyce Echols; brother, Bob Brewer; children, Kenneth Rollins and Jerry Street.

Jerry is survived by a large and loving family, including his beloved wife, Vida Standley; children, Jerry Jr., Earnie, Lester “Squeak”, Harold, Danny, Chuckie, Melissa, Melinda, Melanie, Patty, Kim and husband Jake; sisters, Linda Rankin, Gail Fuller, Catherine Johnson, Leann Buster; his special sidekick, “Babygirl”(Haven); his buddy/helper, JJ Street; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service for Jerry will be held Tuesday, March 19th at 3:00pm at Farley Chapel Cemetery.
