We regretfully announce the passing of a truly remarkable man, Mordie Loyd Marcontell, age 75, of Thicket. Mordie passed suddenly on the evening of March 13, 2024. He filled every room he entered with his kind smile, contagious laughter, and love for the lord.
He treasured quiet mornings with his beloved wife, spending time laughing with his loved ones, and singing gospel music with his family. It is a blessing and a privilege to know and love him. He will be deeply missed by his family, many loved ones, and cherished friends.
A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at Hall Cemetery, 2285 Old Whiteoak Rd, in Thicket on Monday, March 18, at 2 PM.
