Joshua Dwayne Bayer was born June 19, 1981, in Houston, Texas to parents, Dwayne and Darri Bayer. He passed away tragically March 20, 2024, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 42.
Joshua was always known as the class clown and he loved to make people laugh and to be the center of attention. Joshua had just finished Mud Engineering School and worked in the oilfield industry for many years. He never met a stranger and his favorite animal was a giraffe. Joshua loved Marvel Comics and the Avengers.
He had a lot of costumes and you might often see him wearing them around town. But most importantly, Joshua loved his family. He was so proud of his son Shon, loved his mother and father dearly, loved his sisters and his nieces and enjoyed cooking for them. Joshua will be greatly missed by his family and everyone that knew and loved him.
Joshua is survived by his beloved mother, Darri Bayer; father, Dwayne Bayer; best friend and son, Shon Bayer; cherished sisters, Darra Bayer and Aylah Bayer; loving nieces, Chanel Edwards and Maliyah Curry; and loving girlfriend, Kristi Frederick.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 6pm-8pm, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas. Joshua’s funeral is scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 3pm in the Pace-Stancil Chapel with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating.
