William Russell Johnson

William Russell Johnson, 54, of Hardin, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024. He was born in Pasadena, Texas on April 03, 1969, to Noel Johnson and Marie Chadwick Johnson.

William enjoyed front porch sitting with his 2 beautiful dogs while listening to country music with his buddies. His spirit for giving was untouchable by even the humblest of people. Camouflage was his favorite color and his best Sunday dress. He never met a stranger, and when he met someone new or in passing, he would always leave the conversation with “Have a Blessed Day.”

He is preceded in death by his sister, Gidgit Johnson.

William is survived by his parents, Noel Johnson and Marie Johnson of Pasadena, Texas; wife, Cynthia Beard Johnson of Hardin, Texas; son, Bryan Johnson of LaPorte, Texas; brother, Kevin Johnson and wife Patty of Friendswood, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of loving family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Faith and Family Funeral Services, Batson, Texas. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm officiated by Monte Cowen.
