Robert Edward Adams

Robert Edward Adams, 35, of Liberty, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 22, 2024, at his home. He was born on February 17, 1989, in Baytown, Texas, to James Robert and Margie Ihlenfeldt Adams, Robert brought joy and warmth to all who knew him. He was a cherished son, a devoted father, and a loving brother.

Robert’s heart overflowed with love for his family, children and faith in God. An enthusiastic outdoorsman, he found solace and joy in hunting, camping, boating, and fishing on the Trinity River at his grandparents’ place. His gentle soul and willingness to lend a helping hand touched the lives of many. Robert had a rare gift of empathy, always ready to listen and make others feel heard.

A graduate of Liberty High School, class of 2008, Robert was actively involved in FFA and welding, showcasing his dedication and passion for his interests.

Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carole and Richard Ihlenfeldt, Sr., but leaves a legacy of love and kindness. In addition to his parents, Robert is survived his children Dixie and Bentley Adams; his brother Kevin Adams; sister-in-law Cassie Marsh; his niece, Laila Adams; and grandparents Edna and Oran Adams, Jr. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched deeply.

Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Robert’s life on Friday, March 29, 2024, starting at 5 PM, in the chapel of Allison Funeral Service, located at 1101 N. Travis Street in Liberty. A service honoring Robert’s memory, officiated by Pastor Jamie Blume, will commence at 6 PM.

May his gentle spirit and loving presence continue to inspire us all.
