The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating John Bradley Benford, a 59-year-old white male. Benford was last known to be traveling from Cleburne, Texas, to Splendora, Texas, in a red Mitsubishi Mirage.
Surveillance footage places him at a Chevron gas station in the New Waverly area on May 18, 2024.
Following the video sighting, Benford’s phone records indicate his presence near SH 105 and US 59 in the Cleveland area around 11 p.m. that same evening. Since then, there has been no further activity on his phone, social media, or debit card.
It is important to note that Benford does not suffer from any medical conditions and is reported to be in good health. His sudden lack of contact with his family is a cause for concern.
