Zelda Earvin, benefits counsellor for the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Area Agency on Aging, will be at the Liberty Municipal Library on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to answer questions about Medicare eligibility and benefits.
Earvin will meet one-on-one with disabled and older Texans to compare and choose the best Medicare plan that is offered in their area.
Earvin will explain the difference between traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans (Medicare Part C), and she will also assist seniors as they choose from among prescription plans (Part D), that are available to beneficiaries.
Sessions with Ms. Earvin will be on a first-come, first-served basis and there is no charge to attend. She will be available on the first Thursday of every month. In the case of a Holiday or illness we will advise a rescheduled date.
