William “Bubba” Lee Bryant, Jr., 49, of Wallisville, Texas, passed away unexpectedly and way too soon, on the evening of Monday, May 27, 2024, in Houston, Texas. He was born on Sept. 11, 1974, in Houston, Texas, to the late Linda Joyce Hall and William Lee Bryant Sr. Bubba was the youngest of their children. He graduated from high school in Vermont.
Bubba was a skilled mechanic who could build and fix just about anything he could take apart and put back together. He loved working on cars, often disassembling anything he could to see how it worked before reassembling it. Known for his tinkering, Bubba’s passion for mechanics started in his younger years.
Growing up, Bubba was affectionately known as a brat, spoiled rotten, and often teased by his three older sisters. Despite this, he developed the same patterns but with love toward his siblings. Bubba loved cooking, displaying culinary skills that could rival a professional chef. He loved driving fast and cherished his car the most. Bubba was also known for his fondness for the ladies, big heart, and tough-guy persona. He was fun to be around, always making people laugh, and will be genuinely missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his sisters, who already feel lost without him.
Bubba was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his siblings, Kimberly Metcalf and her husband Joe of Vermont, Natalie Scott of Port Arthur, Laura Smith and her husband Joe of Wallisville, and Anthony Bryant and his wife Annie of Katy. His children also survive him: Audrianna Bryant, Dallas Bryant, Sierra Bryant, all of Vermont, Gracie Bryant of Wallisville, and Sympfany Bryant of Houston. Additionally, he leaves behind his girlfriend, Steffany White of Wallisville; his best friend and bonus brother, Matt Sunday of Wallisville; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Bubba’s life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in the chapel of Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Street in Liberty, Texas.
Following Bubba’s wishes, he will be cremated and remembered by all as the fun-loving, big-hearted person he was.
