
Darrell Glynn DuBose, a beloved father, husband, son, and brother, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Born on November 22, 1972, in Pasadena, Texas, Darrell was the son of Robert Franklin DuBose and the late Beth Irene Darter DuBose.
Darrell had a passion for fishing and possessed remarkable mechanical skills, with the ability to disassemble and rebuild engines with ease. His big heart was evident in his deep love for his family, especially his children and his cherished dog, Gracie. Darrell also dedicated himself to caring for his father, whom he held in high regard.
He is preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. Darrell is survived by his daughter, Miranda DuBose, and her fiancé Raudel Pena of Houston, Texas; his father, Robert Franklin DuBose; his wife, Tina Marie DuBose; his stepchildren, Colby McKeever of Liberty, Texas, and Chelsey McKeever of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Elizabeth Dugger of Tivoli, Texas, Charles DuBose and his partner Xavier of Houston, Texas, and Dwayne DuBose and wife Sheri of Baytown, Texas; and his loving canine companion, Gracie.
Darrell will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love for his family, and his unwavering kindness towards others. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Darrell. Your memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
A gathering of Dubose’s loved ones will be on July 12, 2024, at 2 p.m. at 602 Main St., Liberty, Texas. The meeting will be in the activities church on the back side of First Baptist Church, Liberty. There is a parking lot directly across the street from the church campus, so feel free to park there if needed.
This is a open service that is taking place for Darrell DuBose. All are welcome but the family advises that they will not tolerate any disrespectful behavior. This day is gonna be about Darrell and Darrell only.
