On June 24, 1963, the Lord blessed Eugene and Helen Dickerson with the birth of a son, Bruce Elmer Dickerson.
He was a resident of Ames, Texas. Over the years, he attended church at St. Miles Missionary Baptist Church.
Bruce accepted Christ at an early age. He loved the Lord and demonstrated it by always eager to help others where he could. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He helped setup and cleanup of several events in the Ames community.
Bruce Dickerson departed this life on Sunday, July 14, 2024 after a battle of Bone Cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene & Helen Dickerson; Sisters; Debra Baines, Evelyn Dickerson, Igeane Edwards, Alice Orebo; Brothers; Herbert Dickerson, Timothy Dickerson, Thomas Dickerson, Leon Dickerson, Sr., Willie Lee Dickerson.
To cherish his memories Bruce leaves behind his siblings; Louvenia Hill, Willie Wesley Dickerson(Leigh), Theda Dickerson, Carolyn Mouton(Clifton), Larry Dickerson, Gene Dickerson, Tracy Dickerson(Jole’) along with a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.
