In loving memory of the late Gumecindo Gonzaga O, who passed away on July 18, 2024. Gumecindo was born on Dec. 24, 1937, son of his beloved parents, Juan Gonzaga and María Ortega. He was a beloved husband of Pomposa González Ortega and a devoted father to a large and loving family.
Throughout his life, Gumecindo touched the hearts of everyone around him with his kindness, patience, and unwavering love. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his sense of humor and his generosity toward others. Gumecindo’s presence brought joy and comfort to his family and friends, leaving a legacy of love that will last forever.
Gumecindo is survived by his beloved wife, Pomposa González Ortega; children Elea Gonzaga, Jacinto Gonzaga, Martha Gonzaga, Maricela Gonzaga, Eudocia Z. Gonzaga, Antonia Gonzaga, Juan Gonzaga, Catalina Gonzaga, Luciano Gonzaga and Alfredo Gonzaga; grandchildren, Daisy, Jazmín, Iliana, Janeth, Tatiana, Denise, Evelin, Kayli, Stephanie, Wendy, Teresa, Deciderio, Lizeth, Gumecindo Jr., Star, Jennifer, Martin, Jared, Antonio, Ashley, Heidyn, Johana, July, Francisco, Lizbeth and Nancy; great-grandchildren Allison, Alanie and Mattew; as well as the siblings, Lucía Gonzaga, Juan Sosa, Enedina Sosa, Juana Sosa, Reyna Sosa, Carmen Sosa, Cecilia Sosa, Antonia Sosa and Virgilio Sosa.
Gumecindo was predeceased by his son, Mario Gonzaga; and his parents, Juan Gonzaga and María Ortega. Although he has physically left this world, his spirit lives on through the memories and love he shared with all who were lucky enough to know him.
May the soul of Gumecindo Gonzaga O. rest in eternal peace as he reunites with his deceased loved ones in heaven. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Gumecindo falleció antes que su hijo, Mario Gonzaga; y sus padres, Juan Gonzaga y María Ortega. Aunque haya dejado este mundo físicamente, su espíritu sigue vivo a través de los recuerdos y el amor que compartió con todos los que tuvieron la suerte de conocerlo.
