Dayton ISD is proud to continue its commitment to the safety and well-being of students and staff by housing law enforcement officers at each of its seven campuses for the second consecutive year. These officers not only ensure protection but also engage with students, monitor campus security, and foster meaningful relationships within the school community.
“We are grateful to have our SRO officers on each campus,” said Superintendent Dr. Jessica Johnson. “Dayton ISD is appreciative of the support from Dayton PD, DPS, the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, and various constables who help keep our district safe. We thank them all for their service.”
Here’s a look at the officers serving Dayton ISD this year.
Deputy Jason Ricamore: Protecting Stephen F. Austin Elementary
Deputy Jason Ricamore is the school resource officer for Stephen F. Austin Elementary.
With 18 years of law enforcement experience, Deputy Ricamore has made a significant impact in just two years at Dayton ISD.
A father of five, he enjoys boating and white-tail deer hunting with his family.
Dayton ISD is excited to have him return for another year at SFA.
Officer John W. Davis III: Protecting Nottingham Alternative Education Center
With more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement, Officer John W. Davis III has dedicated his career to public service.
He began his career in 1992 with the Liberty County District Attorney’s office and later served with the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office. For the past six years, Officer Davis has been the school resource officer at Dayton ISD’s Nottingham Alternative Education Center.
Officer Davis expressed his love for his job, saying, “I love my job and love to serve and protect our children and staff.”
When not working, Officer Davis enjoys riding motorcycles and praising the Lord. He credits his family, especially his wife Lechelle Davis, for their love and support.
Dayton ISD is grateful for Officer Davis’ continued dedication.

Deputy Adam Hobson: Serving Dayton High School
Deputy Adam Hobson, the school resource officer for Dayton High School, brings nearly 18 years of law enforcement experience to the role. With an Advanced Peace Officer License, his background includes patrol, SWAT, livestock enforcement, and toll road operations. After previously serving Dayton ISD, Deputy Hobson has returned to the district for another year.
“I enjoy interacting and offering guidance to our future generations here at the school,” said Deputy Hobson.
Outside of work, he enjoys church, spending time with family, traveling, hunting, fishing, and coaching Little League sports. Dayton ISD is excited to have Deputy Hobson back at Dayton High School.



Officer Guadalupe Carrizales: Protecting Kimmie M. Brown Elementary
Officer Guadalupe Carrizales is the school resource officer for Kimmie M. Brown Elementary. Though she has only been in law enforcement for one year, Officer Carrizales brings valuable experience from her previous five years as a paraeducator. A mother of three boys, aged 18, 16, and 13, she is returning to KMB after serving the campus last school year.
Officer Carrizales maintains an active lifestyle, stating, “I love to stay active; I exercise five days a week.”
Dayton ISD is thrilled to have Officer Carrizales at Kimmie M. Brown Elementary to keep the campus safe.




Officer Bobby Risch: Bringing Expertise to Dr. E. R. Richter Elementary
Officer Bobby Risch serves as the school resource officer for Dr. E. R. Richter Elementary, with 34 years of law enforcement experience. He recently retired from the Texas State Police, where he spent 22 years as a Highway Patrol Sergeant in Baytown. In February 2024, he joined the Harris County Pct. 3 Constable’s Office and was assigned to Dayton ISD.
An avid outdoorsman, Officer Risch enjoys hunting, fishing, and coaching youth sports, and he loves spending time with his family. Dayton ISD is excited to welcome Officer Risch’s years of experience to the district.
Officer Kenneth Selke: Protecting Woodrow Wilson Junior High
Officer Kenneth Selke serves as the school resource officer for Woodrow Wilson Junior High, bringing four years of law enforcement experience. He started his career with Harris County Pct. 3, working the night shift on the toll road before transitioning to the role of SRO. This is his second year serving WJH.
Before law enforcement, Officer Selke spent over six years as a correctional officer at the Hightower Unit in Dayton. In his spare time, he enjoys the gym, attending Astros games, playing video games, and watching Star Wars with his 10-year-old son. Dayton ISD is proud to have Officer Selke on the team.
Lieutenant Kevin Wilson: Leading Safety Efforts Across Dayton ISD
Lieutenant Kevin Wilson serves as the lead officer for Dayton ISD, overseeing safety operations across the district. Though stationed at Colbert Elementary, Lt. Wilson is a familiar face in the community, having served Dayton ISD for 24 years. He also brings 31 years of law enforcement experience with the Harris County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office and holds a Master Peace Officer Proficiency Certificate.
Lt. Wilson enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, boating, and fishing, and he values time spent with his family.
