Liberty High School celebrated its 2024 Homecoming ceremony with much anticipation and excitement, culminating in the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen on Friday, Sept. 27. The evening was a memorable occasion for both the candidates and their families as they proudly represented their school and community.
Miss Magaly Rangel was crowned the 2024 Liberty High School Homecoming Queen. Magaly is the daughter of Susy Rangel of Liberty, Texas. Throughout her time at Liberty High, Magaly has been actively involved in various school activities, always maintaining a positive and goal-oriented outlook.
After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in business, with aspirations of establishing a successful career. Magaly was escorted to the ceremony by her brother, Luis Rangel, and arrived in style in a 2024 GMC driven by her cousin Osvaldo Rangel.
The 2024 Homecoming King, Avery Daniel, is the son of Alyssa Hebert of Liberty, Texas. Avery is known for his friendly personality and dedication to his future goals. He expressed his desire to attend Lamar University to pursue a degree in software or computer engineering.
Avery’s dream is to find his passion and turn it into a rewarding career. His optimism and focus have made him a standout student and an exemplary role model. Avery, who aims to “find the spark within himself,” hopes to make a meaningful impact through his studies and future work.
