“And the LORD shut him in.” (Genesis 7:16)
The time had arrived. By the construction of an ark, Noah “condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.” (Heb. 11:7) In reverent fear, he believed the promise of God and therefore saved his household. The 600-year-old man entered the ark with his family and animals according to the command of God.
The fountains of the great deep burst forth below and the windows of the heavens were opened above. This global flood continued for 40 days and the waters prevailed so mightily that the highest mountains on earth were completely covered.
The righteous judgment of God “blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens.” (Gen. 7:23)
I want to draw your attention to this gospel truth: “And the LORD shut him in.” Noah did not and could not shut himself in the ark. The waters of judgment were too terrible and strong. Left to Noah, the door of the ark would have burst open to the death of all within. Noah and his family needed supernatural security for their salvation.
Dear reader, if you are a Christian, the LORD will ‘shut you in’ from the flood of fire that is coming on the Day of Judgment. If you aren’t a Christian, today you must “repent and believe in the Gospel.” (Mark 1:15) Jesus Christ knows how to protect, care for, and secure his people. He ‘shuts us in’ his Everlasting Arms and will carry us to the celestial shores of the eternal Promised Land.
“The Lord will…bring us safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” (2 Tim. 4:18)

A Child of God, born of his Spirit, has Christ Jesus and Our Father God living in and flowing thru that Child of God out to others. We have so much more than the early faithful because we will always be one in Spirit with God.

Jesus’ prayer after He is out of this world, (11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
21.THAT THEY ALL MAY BE ONE; AS THOU, FATHER, ART IN ME, AND I IN THEE, THAT THEY ALSO MAY BE “ONE IN US”: THAT THE WORLD MAY BELIEVE THAT THOU HAST SENT ME
22. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23. I IN THEM, AND THOU IN ME, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
(If we are born again, filled with the Spirit of Christ and our Heavenly Father, we are a Child of God. One with Christ and Our Father God.)
Romans 8:9-11 KJV
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but IN THE SPIRIT, IF SO BE THAT THE “SPIRIT OF GOD DWELL IN YOU”.
NOW..”IF ANY MAN HAVE NOT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE IS NONE OF HIS”

He that “HATH THE SON (CHRIST JESUS) HATH LIFE”; and he that “HATH NOT THE SON OF GOD”
“HATH NOT LIFE”.
