Glen Mark Beimer, 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, in Clear Lake, Texas. Glen was born on Feb. 6, 1950, in Ballinger, Texas, to the late Walter G. and Cordula E. Moeller Beimer.
A proud member of the Rowena High School graduating class of 1967, Glen went on to further his education at both Angelo State University and Texas A&M University.
Glen was a skilled craftsman who took great pride in building patio furniture. He had a passion for the outdoors and spent many happy hours fishing and hunting. Known for his humor and love for older country songs, Glen often filled a room with his singing and memorable dance moves. Though he was a quiet, stern man, his hard work and unique personality left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
Glen was the third of three brothers and is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Cordula Beimer, and his brothers, Daniel Henry Beimer and Leon Bernard Beimer.
He is survived by his loving children, Jeana Cosentino and husband Joseph of Brownwood, Texas; Travis Beimer and wife Gayla of San Angelo, Texas; and Stacye Garcia and husband Tony of Pflugerville, Texas. Glen is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Stacen Torres, Keegan Torres, Maci McDonald, Dominique Revada, Tristin Revada, Malachi Revada, Seth Beimer, Lily Beimer, Cade Beimer, and Asher Beimer, as well as his great-grandchildren, Kieylyn Harper and Chosen Harper.
Glen’s memory will live on through his brother, Howard Beimer and wife Denise; his sisters-in-law, Marther Beimer and Adonna Beimer; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Glen’s legacy of hard work, humor, and love for his family will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
