Bubba Yates was born Dec. 18, 1952, in Virginia, to parents, Marion Johnson Yates and Ellen Gray Yates. He passed away in Humble, Texas, on Oct. 25, 2024, at the age of 71.
Bubba was a hard working man that always took great care of his family. He enjoyed all the memories and fishing at the lake house that he had with them. Bubba loved to watch old western movies and had a great passion for dogs. He was the best dad and grandpa in the whole world.
Bubba will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Johnson Yates; wife, Lainey Ruth Yates; great niece, Jessica Renee Oliver.
Bubba is survived by his mother, Ellen G. Yates; son, Jason D. Yates; daughter, Brandy Alaniz and husband Will; grandchildren, Harley Brunson, Skylar Yates, Brooklyn Yates, and Lexi Alaniz; great grandson, Tucker Edge; brother, Billy D. Yates and wife Judy; sisters, Brenda Yates Clabaugh and husband Lynn, and Kay Yates Matthews and husband Dennis; sister-in-law, Brenda Thompson; nieces, Belinda Clowers, Joan Barrett, Lisa Clabaugh, and Courtney Wells; great nephew, Colton Clowers.
A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
