Liberty police investigating $120K theft of Dodge Challengers from local dealership

Thieves targeted the Crossroads Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Liberty early Sunday morning, Nov. 3, around 2 a.m.

According to Liberty Police Capt. Elaine Taylor, the suspects broke a window to gain entry and accessed a secure lockbox containing vehicle keys, then stole two Dodge Challengers, one gray and one green, both equipped with Scat Pack options. The stolen 2023 models are each valued at approximately $60,000, making this a substantial loss for the dealership.

Liberty police are actively investigating and reviewing surveillance footage from neighboring businesses in hopes of identifying the suspects and tracking the vehicles’ direction of travel.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Liberty Police Department at 936-336-5666.

  1. Those clowns at that dealership have been ripping people off for so long, it’s fitting and just that they should suffer a significant loss themselves

    • Your flawed logic is reprehensible and damaging to society. If you suspect and/or have proof of wrong doing, seek legal justice, not this type of third world mentality. I have no dealings with this business and would have responded likewise, regardless of the business.
