In a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country, Cleveland ISD installed a field of flags outside its administration building on Monday, Nov. 11, Veterans Day. Each flag is a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and the unwavering commitment of veterans who have defended the freedom of this nation.
The display, a stunning visual statement made up of 900 small American flags, honors the legacy of veterans from every branch of the United States Military.
Flags representing each branch line the entrance walkway, welcoming all with a reminder of the invaluable contributions made by those in service.

Superintendent Stephen McCanless expressed pride in Cleveland ISD’s display, saying, “This is to honor all who fought for the freedoms we enjoy as a nation. Thank you!”
Cleveland ISD thanks all veterans, extending heartfelt appreciation for their courage and commitment.
