The Dayton FFA delivered an outstanding performance this week at the Ricebelt District Leadership Development Event (LDE) competition, where members competed in 15 different public speaking contests covering a variety of topics, including skills demonstrations, agricultural issues, and creed speaking. This year marked Dayton FFA’s most successful showing at the district level in over a decade.
Out of the 15 teams representing Dayton FFA, 10 earned top-three finishes, advancing them to the Area 9 LDE competition on November 22. Dayton FFA also reclaimed the prestigious Ricebelt District Sweepstakes Winner title, awarded to the school with the most team banners.
