John Lyons, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 8, 2024. John was born to parents Clarence Lyons and Roselyn Booker Lyons on Jan. 21, 1955, in Houston, Texas.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Roselyn Lyons; brothers, Richard Lyons, Junior Lyons; sister, Betty Lyons. He is survived by his beloved wife Waynette Lyons; daughters, Tracy Lyons, Melissa Lyons; grandchildren, Christopher John Allen, Aubree Allen; brother, Charles Lyons and wife Rosie; father-in-law, Wayne Warren; sister in-law Karen and husband David Rogers; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
John’s funeral service will be held at Highpoint Fellowship Church in Splendora, Texas, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024. The burial will follow at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens in Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers for the service will be Ron Hardy, John Griffin, Brant Hickman, Chris Allison, Sam Houston, and David Cain.
