Cheri Lynn Taylor was born March 22, 1947, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to parents, Warren Clay Church Jr and Alyce Kooistra Church. She passed away in Conroe, Texas, on Nov. 19, 2024, at the age of 77 years.
Cheri loved Indians and wolves and you would always find her either knitting or crocheting. She lived in Coldspring, Texas, for 30 years and enjoyed raising her daughters and caring for her husband. Cheri also loved her grandchildren and was affectionately known as Grandma. She will be deeply missed by her family, church family and friends.
Cheri was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Clay Church, Jr., and Alyce Church; brother, Warren Clay Church, III. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Dennis Taylor; daughters, Salene Paukert and husband Keith, and Charleen Bethune and husband Damien; grandchildren, Tommy Couch and wife Debra, John Taylor Adcock, Sadie Paukert, Tatum Bethune, Ian Bethune and wife Priscilla, and Jacob Paukert.
Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, at 12 p.m., at the First Baptist Church Camilla with Pastor Mike Richard officiating.
