Michael Vernon Ridenour was born on Monday, Sept. 27, 1971, in Sheldon, Texas, to his parents, Vernon E. Ridenour and Virginia Lea Clark Ridenour. He passed away on Dec. 1, 2024, in Coldspring, Texas, at the age of 53. He was employed by Brookdale Senior Living as a Regional Maintenance Manager. Before that position, he was the Plant Manager at Holcim Cement. Michael grew up in the Houston area and graduated from C.E King High School where he was active in FFA, 4-H, football, and baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon E. and Virginia Ridenour; grandparents, Vernon C. and Leona V. Ridenour. Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Tiffani Ridenour; daughter, Courtney Lynn Keller; sister, Donna Ridenour Papadimitriou and husband Mike; brother, J.W. Ridenour and wife Lisa Mouser; sister-in-law Angie Ridenour; nephew, Cody Ridenour; nieces, Jenna Papadimitriou and Abbey Papadimitriou; father-in-law, Gary W. Cejka and wife Rebecca Drury Cejka; mother-in-law, Cornelia I. Morris Cejka.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel from 12-2 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 2 p.m. with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Cemetery in Porter, Texas. Pallbearers for the service will be, John Merritt, Tony Riffe, Robert Moody, Kelly Jordan, Jere Lewis, David Dubois, Sue Lemke, Jeff Scrivner, Corey Konarik, Brad Wilburn, and Tom Suttle.
