Dayton Broncos basketball team wins Silver Bracket championship

The Dayton High School varsity basketball team earned the title of Silver Bracket Champions at the 51st Annual Brookshire Royal Basketball Tournament. Over the three-day tournament, the Broncos finished with an impressive 4-1 record.

Despite losing their opening game, the team demonstrated resilience and determination, regrouping to win four consecutive games and secure the championship.

“So many obstacles and moments of adversity, but #WeBelieved and overcame it all,” said Head Coach Rodrick Bankhead. “When we believe in ourselves, we are capable of doing things we have never done before. Congratulations to the team!”
