Pictured with the donated blankets are club members Gail Williamson, Ann Barry, June Damek, Betty Boyd, Barb McFadden, and Kimberley Ramis. Other members who contributed but were not pictured include Rita Aalund, Pat Craig, Mary Etta Clemonds, Linda Doolin, and Ursala Tyler.

Members of the Lost Arts Club recently gathered to present several handmade blankets to the Divine Integrity Group Home as part of their Christmas giving efforts.

A special thank you goes to Rita Aalund, who worked tirelessly on several blankets to help the group meet its delivery deadline before Christmas.

Over the years, the Lost Arts Club has been dedicated to providing handmade items to those in need. Their past contributions include scarves for Military Service Members and Special Olympics participants, as well as blankets for CASA and the local Fire Department.

The club has also created items for local nursing homes and shipped knitted and crocheted hats, mittens, and scarves to churches in upstate New York and other areas where cold-weather supplies were needed.

The Lost Arts Club would also like to acknowledge their local benefactor for a very generous donation that has made it possible to provide so many items to so many people. This support has been invaluable to the club’s mission.

The Lost Arts Club meets every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at the Liberty Municipal Library. New members are always welcome to join and take part in their charitable efforts.
