On Jan. 7, 2025, Ted Wayne Stephens went home to be with the Lord, at the age of 70. Ted was born to parents Delbert Stephens and Mary Carter Stephens in Cleveland, Texas on Feb. 14, 1954. A devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, and friend, Ted will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Ted is preceded in death by his father, Delbert Stephens.He is survived by a large and loving family, including his wife, Toni Stephens; mother, Mary Stephens; sons, Clayton Straps, Ted Wayne Stephens Jr.; daughters, Amy Walters and husband Luke, April Coker and husband Timothy Coker Jr.; Jennifer Bostick; siblings, Linda Rekart and husband Ron, Peggy Crump and husband Jerry, Sherry Trammell and husband Steve, Mike Stephens and wife Mickie, Dennis Stephens and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Gracie Reed, Aubrey Hill, Raegan Mills, Luke Walters Jr., Summer Walters, Kadence Coker, Tru Coker, Timothy Coker III; his very best friend, Al Cade and wife Debbie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A visitation for Ted will be held on Friday, Jan. 10, at 10 a.m., at the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland, Texas. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, in the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland, Texas, with Rev. Ronald Culberth and Bro. Ronnie Culberth officiating. Ted will be laid to rest at Morgan Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Al Cade, Josh Trammell, Jason Stovall, Wesley Swanson, Ronnie Stephens, Tony Crump. Honorary pallbearers for the service include Clayton Straps, Timothy Coker III, Larry Penton, and Steve Trammell.
