John Dale Dixon was born July 15, 1974, in Houston, Texas, to parents, Bill Dixon and Pamela Keefer Dixon. He passed away Feb. 21, 2025, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 50. John, #44, was an all-state football linebacker in Oklahoma at Hartshorne High School for 4 years and played for the Oklahoma Sooners. He also proudly served our country in the US Navy.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Pamela Dixon; brother, Billy Dixon Jr; sister, Helen Jean Dixon; brother-in-law, Jack Lee. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Freya Alana Dixon; brother, Frank Dixon and wife Debbie; sisters, Angela Star Lee, Diane Alain Mann, Gale Lynn Smith and husband Bud, Sherry Gayl Trussell and husband Stephen, and Marcella Dawn-Marie Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, at 2 p.m., with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating. Military honors provided by the United States Military.
