A 15,000-square-foot indoor baseball and softball training facility is coming to Valley Ranch Crossing, following a 1.31-acre land sale announced by The Signorelli Company.

Slated to open in summer 2025, the D-BAT Baseball and Softball Academy will offer lessons, camps, workshops, event space, cage rentals, a fully stocked pro shop, and monthly memberships for players at all levels seeking high-quality sports training.

“D-BAT brings a unique appeal to Valley Ranch with its blend of professional sports training and family-friendly activities for athletes and visitors alike,” said Greg Wattson, Senior Vice President of Commercial Development at The Signorelli Company. “This premier sports facility complements our vision for Valley Ranch as a hub for entertainment, active living and community engagement, and we’re excited to see it serve the area for years to come.”

Situated along I-69 just south of the Grand Parkway in Montgomery County, Valley Ranch Crossing is located at the main entrance of the 1,400-acre Valley Ranch mixed-use development. The community retail center serves a growing residential community of 1,500 single family homes and over 600 multi-family units and offers a variety of services and amenities, including financial, automotive and medical services, as well as food and beverage options.

D-BAT will provide families with a high-caliber space for recreation and to improve skills, whether through casual activities or advanced athletic training. This addition is particularly significant for young athletes preparing for league play, high school teams or even collegiate-level competition.

“This new location is more than just a training center; it’s a gathering place for families and a resource for aspiring athletes,” said Kyle Griffis D-BAT Cofounder. “We’re thrilled to bring this unique offering to an area that’s seeing so much growth and community engagement.”
