David Alan Hawes, 61, of Old River, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at his residence.
David was born Aug. 20, 1963, in Victoria, to parents; Lloyd and Alma Druin Hawes, and has resided in the area since 1994. He was a former machinist for Dow after receiving certifications from TSTI. David also enjoyed working in his shed, gardening, hunting, mechanics, flying RC planes, and night drives.
Mr. Hawes was preceded in death by his mother: Alma Druin Hawes and son: Travis Hawes. He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Stephanie Stevens Hawes, daughters: Jamie Wolfe and husband Davy and Amber Hawes, father: Lloyd Hawes, sister: Diana Hawes, brother: Tommy Hawes and wife Arlene, grandchildren: Skyler Wolfe, Dylan Wolfe, and James Nouis, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
