Liberty County Sheriff’s Office seeks help in identifying suspect in stolen vehicle case

Surveillance footage from March 19, 2025, shows an unidentified male suspect in a stolen vehicle at the Burger King drive-thru near Hwy 90 and Hwy 321 in Dayton.

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is requesting the public’s help in identifying the male seen in the vehicle shown in the attached photos. The individual is a suspect in connection with a vehicle stolen from a residence in Hull, Texas.

The vehicle was recently recovered unoccupied by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office. As part of the ongoing investigation, Liberty County investigators obtained surveillance footage from March 19, 2025, at a fast-food restaurant in the Dayton area.

The video shows the suspect driving the stolen vehicle through the drive-thru at the Burger King located near the intersection of Highway 90 and Highway 321.

The attached images are still frames taken from that footage.

If you recognize the male in these photos, please contact the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office at 936-336-4500 and ask to speak with Investigator D. McMullan. You may also contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-STOP (7867) to provide information anonymously and potentially receive a cash reward.
