Vernon Ray Clark, 60, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away on April 18, 2025, in Conroe, Texas. Born on Nov. 9, 1964, in Breaux Bridge, La., Vernon, affectionately known as “Buck,” lived a life marked by hard work and deep friendships.
Buck was a skilled carpenter whose craftsmanship left a lasting impact. A longtime resident of Cleveland, Texas, he built not only many strong bonds with those around him.
He is survived by his brothers, Kenny Clark of Beaumont, Texas, and Larry Clark of Bumpass, Virginia. Buck’s memory will also be cherished by his closest friends, John Bemrose, Teresa Bemrose, Sylvia Ross, Diana Grey, Christina Barber, Royce Kennedy, Lou Ann Sweeten, Chuck Billingsly, and numerous other loving friends and family who held him dear. Buck’s absence will be deeply felt, but his kindness and camaraderie will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
