Edith Mae Jeffcoat

Edith Mae Jeffcoat, 92, went home to be with the Lord on April 26, 2025, in Cleveland, Texas. Edith was born to parents Alvis Aaron Smith and Anna Bell Clinkenbeard Smith on Oct. 26, 1932, in Apache, Okla.

Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Jeffcoat; parents, Alvis and Anna Bell Smith; daughter-in-law, Wana Jeffcoat; grandson, Glenn Ray Jeffcoat. She is survived by her sons, Delbert Jeffcoat and wife Suzanne, Doyle Jeffcoat; daughter, Donna Godejohn and husband Larry; grandchildren, Larry Wayne Godejohn, Nicholas Jeffcoat, Amanda Jeffcoat, Christine Roberts, Kelly Seay, Peter Cargill; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as 4 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Edith Jeffcoat will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 6 – 8 p.m., at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Magnolia Baptist Church in Cleveland, Texas. Edith will be laid to rest at Magnolia Cemetery.
