Jo Ann Robinson, 78, of Beaumont, Texas, passed May 4, 2025.

A Memorial Service will be held 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Proctor’s Mortuary 3522 Washington Blvd., Beaumont, Texas.

Jo Ann Taylor Robinson was the first baby girl born to Josephine Wilson & Me Henry Taylor on July 7, 1946, out of a total of 16 Kids, born from that Union. She was a nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital for many years.

She leaves fond memories to her four heartbeats: Michael G Taylor Sr., David C Robinson Sr, Anthony Taylor and her one and only daughter Tracy Robinson Sostand Broussard Seastrunk (Steven). Her bonus kids: Pauline Minkins, Debra Ridgeway (Mitchell), Shirley Robinson, Gwendolyn Rice, Michelle Washington, Tasha Washington, Kenneth Robinson Sr, and Jeffery Robinson (Dorthy). Her nine grandkids: Brittney Taylor, Michael Taylor Jr David C Robinson Jr. Taylor Sostand (Toddricke) Justin Taylor, Kierra Taylor, Alexandria Taylor, Amber Taylor and Aniya Taylor. Bonus grandson Terrance E Broussard and 18 eighteen great grands. Brothers and Sisters: Jerry Taylor, Ronald Taylor, Donald Taylor, (Deborah) Harvey Taylor, (Theresa) Harold Taylor. and David Taylor. Mary Ann Brown. (Lester Wilma Sellers, Maxine Rogers, Gloria Lane, Hilda Pouncy, Shirley Taylor, and Martha Granger. Numerous nieces and nephews Her best friend: sister Marie Gordon
